She has formed part of Valletta Contemporary's team  since its opening,  working as Content Writer and Editor – she has interviewed all of its exhibiting artists. Ann holds two Masters, one in Art History and one in Design Criticism from the University of Malta and the University of London respectively. She has published extensively on the subjects of art, architecture and urban thinking, with work appearing in Dezeen, Monocle, Architecture Today, Domus, The Plan Journal and Disegno Journal. She wrote a ten-part architecture column for The Times of Malta titled 'Space Matters' and is a regular art and architecture correspondent for the paper.

As a curator, Ann has worked internationally in London, Venice and Accra. For Valletta Contemporary, she curated ‘The Archetype Series’, a solo sculpture show featuring the work of multi-disciplinary artist Norbert Francis Attard. She worked with Attard on his next solo exhibition, ‘Soap to Think With’, shown at Gozo Contemporary. Ann was curator and essayist, helping deliver a body of work comprising 111 pieces spanning a production period of two years. In 2019, Ann was an exhibitor at VC, co-curating and producing writing for a photography and text-based exhibition titled ‘The Spaces that Connect Us’. The exhibition examined the social constructs of an internetless society in rural America and included photography, as well as a creative non-fiction essay Ann wrote as a culmination of her on-site research.
