SOAP TO THINK WITH is a catalogue accompanying Norbert Francis Attard’s solo exhibition, showcasing over two and a half years of artistic exploration through diverse media and disciplines. The catalogue interrogates three tematic pillars: the global impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic, political and financial corruption in Malta and the assasination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. Attard’s work employs conceptual art, objet trouvé, light art, photography, sculpture and graphic art to grapple with profound ethical and societal dilemmas. With critical essays by Paul Sant Cassia, Ann Dingli and Nikki Petroni, alongside a prologue by Gabriel Zammit, this publication offers analytical, philosophical and contextual insights into Attard’s extensive collection. Through this lens, SOAP TO THINK WITH reflects on humanity’s most significant moral challenges in recent history.
