Valletta Contemporary and the META Foundation has collaborated with the San Gorg Preca College Primary School to offer their year 5 and 6 students a number of photography and photo-editing workshops by Cyril Sancereau.

 

Reactivating a concept that Cyril Sancereau has already experimented in France, he proposed a photographic workshop focused on walking and territory. After explaining some landscape photography rules to the students they went on site to take the shot. In the idea of urban walks they took their time to appreciate the qualities and defects of the landscape in order to position ourselves in space and time. Then they looked at the images together and shared the different points of view on the same territory.
