Donation Schemes

Individual and corporate support in the form of donations makes an important difference to what Valletta Contemporary can achieve in its scope, reach, and level of quality. Our supporters have helped ensure that the gallery can continue to showcase globally recognised art, host engaging community events and provide state-of-the-art premises as a setting to all its diverse artistic and cultural activities. In return, they get a seat at the table of Malta’s most relevant discussions on art and culture. We value all kinds of contributions and are eternally grateful to each and every donor that supports our work.

Every amount counts

VC greatly appreciates any amount donated to the continuation of its mission to connect the local community with contemporary art.

Through your contribution, VC is able to continue delivering its high-quality exhibition program year-round and support emerging talent in contemporary art. Drop us a line on info@vallettacontemporary.com, give us a call on +356 21 241667, or speak to a member of our team at VC gallery shop to find out more about donating to our gallery.

Any amount donated above the amount of 80 EUR up to 499 EUR will entitle the donor to an Art Lover membership valid for one year.

How does it work?

Limited liability companies and partnerships who are registered to be treated as a company can apply to receive a total deduction of 150% of the expense actually incurred on a donation given to a registered Voluntary Organisation (VO) or Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) operating in the cultural sector on a maximum amount of EUR 50,000. 150% of the amount donated may be claimed against the income of the same year of assessment when the donation was made. Click here for more detailed information about terms and conditions and to find out where to apply.
