Maria Eileen Fsadni

Maria Eileen Fsadni is an art historian, a writer and an environmental activist. Her writings focus on the intersections between the arts, culture and the environment. Her work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers including the Malta Artpaper, The Malta Independent and Il-Bizzilla. Maria has a B.A. and M.A. in Art History from the University of Malta, her Master's thesis focused on the repetitive self-representation of the Maltese modern artist Antoine Camilleri.

 

Maria has worked in some of Malta’s leading museums and cultural NGOs over the past 8 years, and in her student days she was President of the History of Art Students’ Association. In 2023 she was awarded the JCI Ten Outstanding Persons of the Year award for Environmental Leadership.
