Creative Reflections
Since 2019, Valletta Contemporary has been releasing annual publications that serve as a rich archive of the gallery’s creative and intellectual pursuits. These publications feature curatorial texts from exhibitions, providing critical reflections and insights into the concepts that drive the showcased works. They also include in-depth artist profiles, interviews, and independent articles written by local and international contributors. These pieces offer deeper contextualisation of the exhibited artworks and delve into the broader cultural and socio-political themes explored in the exhibitions.

In addition to exhibition-related content, the publications highlight behind-the-scenes narratives, revealing the collaborative processes between artists, curators, and the gallery team. They also celebrate the interdisciplinary nature of the contemporary art scene by incorporating essays and critiques that connect the exhibited works with global trends in art, culture, and society.

Each edition acts as a platform for intellectual exchange, fostering dialogue between diverse perspectives. Beyond being a record of the gallery's annual programming, these publications aim to inspire ongoing discussions, support research, and engage the community with contemporary art in meaningful ways.
